I thought from the description that it might be stiffer, but it is not very rigid. I purchased it to wear while using a riding lawn mower over rough ground to help keep my back from hurting. It will probably be OK if I pull it tight enough, but I will not use it for lifting heavy objects.

This is a great trainer, I've worn it a couple times under my cloths, but I wear daily during my workout. Not only does it pull you in, and give you a great shape in under your cloths. It also binds you comfortably, and promotes sweating, and trimming while working out. This product is great.

This waist trainer is perfect. I can wear it under my clothing and there is no pinching when bending or sitting. I highly recommend. I put 4 stars for comfort only because of occasional itch from the tag. I ended up removing it.

This product came fast and are made of good?quality. I was impressed at how good it felt when I put it on. I'm 6'1, 230 pounds, and I got the extra-large. However, if I was you reading this review I would go a size smaller. Only because I was able to get to the 2nd row of hooks out the gate and I want maximum tightness. All in all I would definitely buy this again. great product.

It is well made and seems like it will last a while. The back support is great and I was able to start working out again. It can be a little awkward if you put it on too far down when you go to sit. After a few uses I noticed that my posture is a lot better without much effort while wearing it. Overall It's pretty nice for the price.

I have had the belt three days and really enjoy the support and pain relief i have received by using it during the day. Doing yardwork is less stressful/painful with the belt. Havent noticed any waistline reduction yet, but that isn't the reason I purchased it.
